    Description

    Circa 1960's, this is 12 unused "Icincles", which are small plastic refrigerator tray cups to make ice cubes for a single drink or a dozen, without removing the tray from the freezing compartment of the refrigerator.  Comes with the original display cardboard box and 12 plastic cups, in the 4 colors of red, blue, green and yellow. Box measures 11 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 1 1/2".  The cups are all the same size and measure 1 3/4" in diameter across the top and 1" in diameter across the bottom and are 1 3/8" tall.  Makes a great display in a mid century modern setting-appears to me to be a very impractical item and I suspect did not sell well-which today makes them even more collectible.  Made by Spir It Inc., Malden Mass.  Instructions for use are on the inside of the lid. Cups are in perfect new condition and the box shows some minor wear (see my photos).  Only one like this on ebay.  I ship every day.
